Exclusive features
of ABADY species-appropriate diets:
»
Advanced Natural Design
Closest in design to nature's diets for canines and felines formulated
by any company. Advanced formulary structure
provides high levels of nutrition per calorie.
»
Superior Nutrition
Strongest balanced protein base in the industry. Over 80% to 95%+ of
the protein in all Abady feeds derived from
quality animal sources. Most other brands, 4 to 50%.
High polyunsaturated and extended polyunsaturated fatty acid formulas,
providing longest- chain essential fatty acid content.
All vitamins premium USP grade. Contains added vitamin C and natural
vitamin E.
Abady Avoids:
a) Low quality grain protein: gluten — the cornerstone of most
commercial diets. Gluten is a very poor source of protein with
a biological value (BV) of 40 —- about half of the BV needed for
sound growth and maintenance.
b) Interference factors: Varieties of fibrous ingredients yield high
amount and volumes of fibrous material. Being primarily a
meat-eater, canine and feline diets should be consistent with their
physiology and physiological processes. Logically, this
means that the diet should be low in fibrous material. Fibrous material
is the principal factor that interferes with nutrition in
dog food today.

Greater Safety
The Abady Company excludes all artificial stool-forming agents and saponin-containing
ingredients include
soybeans, beet pulp, alfalfa, oats, tomato pomace, sodium bentonite
and cellulose flours).
Saponins have been identified by independent researchers to cause bloat
and other serious metabolic disturbances
in dogs and cats, and every species of animal in which they have been
tested.
Firm, compact stools are formed naturally with Abady products. Stool-forming
agents form stools in an unnatural
way, reduce nutrient values and pollute the intestinal tract of canines
and felines.
ABADY CANNED FOODS: Years ago, a can of pet food would contain mostly
meat and/or meat by-products.
Now, increasing amounts of dry filler-type materials replaced the nutritious
and highly beneficial meat and meat
by-products, making today's canned food little more than moistened dry
food in a can.
ABADY canned formulas avoid a) far less effective protein from plant
sources, and b) ingredients such as carageenan
(commonly used as a thickener in canned foods), because of its tumor
inciting properties.

Revolutionary Nutrient-Sparing Preparation Method
GRANULAR FORMULAS: As each group of ingredients requires different levels
of processing, ABADY has developed
a processing method which subjects each ingredient only to the level
of processing it requires. Preserves the nutrient
value of ingredients to a degree not attainable by conventional methods.
The ABADY original two-step, low-heat method of processing is the only
one in the industry that maximizes the nutrient
availability of each group of ingredients, thereby raising the plane
of nutrition in all ABADY products.
KIBBLED FORMULAS: In keeping with ABADY nutritional philosophy, each
formula is as close to being a
species-appropriate ration as can be achieved within the limitations
of the kibbling process.

Industry-Leading Texture
Abady's advanced granular texture helps maintain cleaner teeth, fosters
oral hygiene & promotes a manner of eating
consistent with the dogs oral structure. The light salinity of the product
(saline rather than sugary) helps to keep the
mouth clean, fresh and in a natural way, resistant to destructive micro-organisms.
